"The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Darien has made a tremendous difference in the math aptitude of my children. We started the classes in July 2018. In just four months, my 8th grade daughter passed the 8th grade math evaluation test and was given the permission from school to transition from regular math into advanced math (algebra 1). In preparation for the test, Mrs. Anita prepared packets that targeted key 8th grade math concepts for Emily to practice. Thank you for your extra time and effort! In addition, my younger daughter has been able to increase her speed and proficiency in solving mathematical problems and is now far ahead of her 5th grade classmates. Overall, I am thankful to Mrs. Anita for the progress that both of my daughters have shown."

"We have brought our 4 and 5 year old here since the Fall of 2018. We appreciate there being a lesson for each day, for each subject. The kids have come to understand that a daily homework is to be expected and the importance that homework must be completed by the next on-site session. Our oldest began Kumon at Port Ranch, CA, at age 4, and reads close to second grade level and writes at about first grade level. Our youngest is beginning word recognition. We have been happy with their progress. The manager is approachable and has been quite helpful with their lesson plans, especially as their interest and/or engagement are forever in flux. This has been truly appreciated. An added benefit would be if the instructors were more engaged with students’ progress or able to provide helpful suggestions based on their interactions with them. Overall, we are very pleased."
