"So, I wanted to inform you all that I just got released yesterday from there and I went through my personal belongings and found out $30 is missing. Very disappointed in you all. I also stayed too long and was supposed to leave back to Corpus sooner than yesterday. Got told something for touching my tomato in the lunch line I believe because it was “unsanitary” but anyways I would like something to be done about it because I am not going to let this go. And I only gave y’all two stars because I ended up making friends and I enjoyed group. The workers: Javier, Astrid, Día, Jordan, the girl with the pink & black NIKE high-tops/glasses. The short bald guy with a beard and black Adidas, the big guy at night with the glasses, forgot their names but I would like to compliment them on their performance and the way I was treated. They are really good techs to the patients."

"Don't not go here , I went in voluntary and the voluntary right states I can leave when you want and they didn't not want to release me nor tell me why. I requested documentation why I was still there never given documentation , if you go here request for your patient right document and if your family here knows their rights because , this was a nightmare for me ! Please everyone know your patient right before going here"

"I checked myself in back in June. While I am grateful my stay was covered 100% since I had no insurance, the experience wasn’t great. Some of the stuff was nice but some of the techs who watched over us were kind of rude, and often ignored us. I was put into a room with an individual who would smear feces in the restroom, causing the entire room to smell horrible and housekeeping would take a whole day to come clean it and it took 2 or 3 days to get me switched to another room. The first day they let me move my mattress to the activity room and said I could sleep, and not even 30 minutes later a group leader came in and got mad at me and said I can’t sleep in there because it’s group time and made me get up. At least I was allowed to check out 2 days early due to good behavior."

"I went here in September last year and I would go back without a doubt. The bad reviews just don't make sense. The staff was constantly helping and showing care. I was in the teen group as an outpatient and the staff worked tirelessly to help me get better even when I made it kind of difficult. The staff made all the kids and I feel welcomed and even adjusted to different kids needs and behavior. All the staff I knew showed genuine care. Even the front desk receptionist were really nice and learned the names of the kids. If you go here and blame the staff for you not getting better you have to remember you need to also help yourself. You cant get better without trying and the staff is dedicated to seeing people get better. Please don't hate this place for petty reasons, it changed my life and other people i know personally for the better. It gave us help and hope when nobody else did. Good job to the registered nurses, therapist/psychiatrist, the staff that watches the group, the teacher, and the receptionist. You guys truly go above and beyond even when short staffed. Thank you for everything you guys do."
