"First time patient. It was a Friday and I arrived at 1:15PM for an appointment with Dr. Shanna Brown at 1:30PM. At 2:40PM they called me to say Dr. had to leave early and we needed to reschedule. I said: no way! But there was nothing they could do... The receptionist said they had more patients to reschedule, besides me, with even longer wait times than mine. Basically, this clinic doesn't care for their patients' time. Thanks for wasting my time Gulf Coast Eye Institute!"

"The purpose of this review is to highlight the absolutely fabulous service my wife and I received from the Gulf Coast Eye Institute and the Harlingen Surgical Center, both in Harlingen, TX. Over a period of six weeks we each had successful cataract removal surgery and intraocular lens implant procedures and we’re absolutely thrilled with the results. Throughout the entire process the staff members at both facilities were professional, efficient, cordial, informative, compassionate, and attentive to our questions to the point that all of our concerns were quickly put to rest. Specifically, at the Gulf Coast Eye Institute Premier Group of Stephanie, Annette, Esmy, and Joseline as well as a myriad of other folks whose names we didn’t get including those from check in to testing to scheduling and everything in between are to be commended. At the Harlingen Surgical Center our experiences were the same from start to finish. Again, we weren’t able to get all the names of those involved but Stella, Vero, Tracey, and Clarissa are just four of many with whom we interacted over a period of weeks. Honestly, we initially approached everything with some degree of hesitation but the folks at both facilities totally alleviated our worries in quick order. Again, we wish we had the names of all those who played a role in our treatments but we will simply say we never experienced a single untoward minute from start to finish. And we must also add that our doctors, Juan Arciniega and Shanna Brown for my wife and Alireza Ghaffereih for me were likewise outstanding and all can be described with all the previously-mentioned laudatory comments. Needless to say we’re very “happy campers” and loving our transition to a lifestyle of no glasses and/or no contacts, something we’ve wanted for many years. ‘Nuff said."

"My visit was excellent. I usually go to the mall and have to do some shopping because of the wait times to see the Dr. However, for such a large clinic the staff was excellent and friendly. The clinic staff was very professional and the Office Manager, Tom was walking around making sure everyone was being taken care of. Definitely FIVE STAR service."
