"I had the privilege of interacting with Daniel Boles, the Assistant Branch Manager at Point Bank, during a challenging time when my elderly aunt’s account was compromised. Daniel exhibited remarkable patience and empathy. He listened attentively to our concerns, understanding the gravity of the situation. His calm demeanor reassured us during a stressful time. His actions demonstrated that he wasn’t just doing his job; he was looking out for us. Daniel embodies the essence of exceptional customer service. Point Bank is fortunate to have such a dedicated professional leading their team. Thank you, Daniel, for your outstanding care and commitment!"

"My late wife and I opened individual checking accounts as well as a College savings account back in 2009 at the Aubrey location. The staff there was excellent; they did not "snub" as for not being extravagantly wealthy, in fact they treated us like millionaires. A year later we moved into Denton proper and switched to the North Branch on Carroll Blvd. We received the same top notch service, courtesy and comfort level as in Aubrey. The North Branch Vice-president, Aaron Benedict always shares a funny or interesting anecdote and in jest calls me Serpico; the staff of tellers are always warm and ordinarily recognize me even though I am not in the building all that often. (5 Stars for the North Branch and Aubrey locations) Then in April 2023, I had reason to conduct a particular transaction at the South Branch on I35E near Teasley. Due to health issues (permanent disability), two hospitalizations and the requirement at my advanced age to produce an original/state seal birth certificate for the renewal, my driver's license was about 45 days past due. The teller was quite a young man (boy) who was obviously new in the job, refused to execute the transaction - which was a simple cash advance (>$1k) from my Soc. Sec. Benefits debit card to deposit in my checking account - because of the lapsed D/L. I pulled out my Social Security card, my Medicare card, my United Healthcare Insurance card to assure the boy teller that I was indeed the person named on the Social Security debit card to no avail. I mean, ALL I was doing was depositing money into my checking account, not even taking money in hand. My frustration was noticed by the Branch Officer - Daniel Boles - and he gave the teller the "go ahead" to complete the transaction. Now I had been doing this exact transaction at the North Branch (1700 Carroll Blvd) every month for three years and rarely did a teller need to have me produce a picture ID; everyone knew who I was. I understand how these sorts of identity verification are necessary in many cases - large sums around $10k, questionable checks or documents - but I am a customer with three accounts being run at PointBank since 2009. In fact the ONLY reason I had to go to the South Branch was because the "dedicated" phone line that is used for cash advance approvals was out of order at the North Branch that month. Now when I finally got the "Highly Suspicious" cash advance deposited into my PointBank checking account and walked out to the parking lot my car was on fire! Argh!!! There had been a short in the headlamp that was supposed to have been repaired but apparently not well enough. I ran back into the bank and asked if they had a fire extinguisher. So, in fact the South Branch Officer - Mr. Boles - came outside quickly with the extinguisher and saved anything but minor smoke and wiring damage to my car. For that I am extremely grateful. However, the cash advance phone line at the North Branch has yet to be repaired - It's September 1, 2023. I had to go back to the South Branch again twice for the EXACT SAME transaction with the EXACT SAME boy-teller who has "chastised me like I'm a twelve year old who's dog ate his homework" EACH TIME acting as if they don't know who I am, whether I am laundering money, stealing some old person's Social Security Benefits debit card or what...funding terrorists perhaps! If it weren't such a pain in the a** I would laugh hysterically. I mean I could just drive through their darned ATM, withdraw the cash (NO ID REQUIRED - what??!!) and deposit the cash into my checking account - but that gigs me for $3.50 ATM fee because my Social Security debit card is NOT a PointBank card, each time I need to DEPOSIT MORE OF MY MONEY into THEIR BANK. Funny, but I thought that making deposits INTO a bank would be welcomed and assisted - NOT be a repeatedly HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE! I DO NOT need THIS BANK. I will be going to my local CREDIT UNION where they will actually ASSIST ME to deposit MY MONEY! Good Riddence Mr. Boles and your boy-teller. You have thrown away a formerly LOYAL customer since 2009."

"I don’t personally bank with this institution, but I would think if I changed from my current banker, I would definitely consider point bank. I was given a check from someone today and had to go cash it at point bank, when I walked in the door of the location on IH 35 and Teasley, in Denton, Texas I was promptly greeted with four friendly hellos, And four people inside waiting to help me out. Good customer service is kind of hard to come by these days in my personal opinion, but these guys did an exceptional job, and if you are an executive for Point Bank reading this, I highly encourage you make sure you retain these valuable assets for your organization. Big time thank you to Brennan, Corwin, Daniel, and Mason. Great job gentlemen. Enjoy your weekend!"
