"Miss Marissa is my music therapist. She is very kind, affectionate, and above all unbelievably awesome! My past therapists were on the rude side but here at this center it is quite the opposite. I know Miss Marissa cares about me and wants to help me. I love coming to music therapy. She has really helped me. I love Miss Marissa and I would give her 10 stars!! She wants to help me, and I feel that. I want her to stay here forever!!! (Nicholas - 11 years old)"

"My wife and I were running late to an appointment due to the babysitter being late. We called ahead to let the center know we would be a few minutes late. We were told we would have to re-schedule our appointment. I ended up getting charged for the therapy session I never even got to attend. It was my first time trying out therapy so maybe I'm just naïve and this is the standard in the industry, but I've never been charged for NOT receiving a service. When I tried to pay the bill online, I found out that the center doesn't let you make online payments. The center will also only inform you of your due payments via physical mail, no call, no text, and no email to inform you of your due payment. If you do decide to use this center for therapy, never miss/re-schedule an appointment. They will take your money anyways. Also, if you need to pay them back, be ready to do it in person or by mail."

"Can’t thank Dr Frank Emmet enough. After my deployment I was experiencing… negative thoughts and now, many sessions later I have a different look on life thanks to the guidance received here. Also, beautiful art is displayed inside and was greatly appreciated as I waited for my appointment. Thank you."

"This mental health facility has been a blessing for me. Counseling for ptsd and other issues like Cancer. The counselors are amazing. I have had therapists all throughout my life, this counselor is very good. She gives me tools to cope, homework to help resolve issues I come in with. This center is sending therapists from this facility to help the families dealing with the aftermath of Uvalde Elementary School shootings. My counselor is among these therapists. Prayers for this center and all it does for our community."

"My 14 year daughter was given an appointment card with a date and time. I showed up and the pregnant receptionist informed me that she didn’t have an appointment. I had just pulled her out of high school, drove 40 minutes with traffic, and my daughter walked into this clinic sobbing. Which anyone could see. She never apologized and informed me that there was nothing to do for a half an hour because I was early but that the counselor had someone booked at 4pm already. She was quite snippy. This was the second time she was rude to me. I told her she needs to be more professional. It’s astounding that she works for a mental health facility and has an visible upset 14 year child walk into her office and there “nothing she can do”. The counselor did personally call me back while I was stuck in traffic on the way home, attempting to calm my daughter down. Too late to turn back. She did say she cleared her next appointment for my daughter. Too little, too late. Won’t be going back. Highly unprofessional."
