"I wouldn't recommend Frank as a family therapist. It doesn't seem like he is qualified for it, and he did not fully explain what he plans for our treatment even when I asked. When I asked him, he said he didn't have anything specific and crudely said, "Sorry I'm a bad therapist." There were many times in sessions where things would get extremely heated and he would do nothing to help guide us through it. He said so himself that the state of our relationship was terrible in the beginning , but did not offer us anything to actually help understand each other better, especially our communication skills. He often said, "You both have different realities" which was not helpful because that's why we are there in the first place. I found he was often patronizing in session."
