Quit your sniveling because you did not get the C& P results you wanted. Quit lying & being dishonorable then write negative reviews of how Dr. Hickman somehow did you wrong because you are the one who is the fraud. "PLEASE READ!!! Brothers and sisters, if you have an appointment with this guy, please please please please I am begging you to reschedule. Every negative review is absolutely true and you should run the other way. After visiting Scott o. Hickman’s office for my va c&p, he was very very rude. Very unmotivated to do his job. Just because you have 20 years of experience does not excuse the fact you’re a sad human being who doesn’t want to his job and help people in need. After I left his office, I felt the worst and wvwn thought about ending it. After being honest bout my alcohol and cannabis use for to help my condition, he proceeded to accuse me of other drugs I never even thought about in my life. He decides to blame my alcohol use for my mental health. Aside from making you feel like trash, he shows no empathy or compassion. There are many of us suffering and suffering in silence. This guy will only make people feel worse. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!"

"My experience with Dr. Hickman was deeply disappointing, especially considering his role in conducting C&P exams for service members. His lack of compassion and disregard for military service was evident throughout the entire process. During the examination, Dr. Hickman displayed a complete lack of interest in understanding my military experiences and the challenges I've faced. It seemed as though he was merely going through the motions, taking notes without any genuine concern for the impact of my service on my well-being. What troubled me the most was his apparent agenda to hinder veterans from accessing the benefits they rightfully deserve. Instead of providing a fair and unbiased assessment, Dr. Hickman appeared to be searching for ways to undermine my claims and discredit my military history. It's unfortunate to encounter a medical professional who fails to recognize the sacrifices made by service members and lacks the empathy necessary to comprehend the mental and emotional toll of military service. Dr. Hickman's approach is a stark reminder that true care should extend beyond medical textbooks and involve genuine understanding and respect for those who have served. For anyone scheduled for a C&P exam with Dr. Hickman, I would strongly advise seeking an alternative. His approach is far from what one would expect from a medical professional entrusted with the well-being of veterans. It's disheartening to encounter such a negative and dismissive attitude from someone in his position. In my view, Dr. Hickman's lack of compassion and apparent bias is a disservice to service members seeking the support they rightfully deserve. As others have noted, his actions exemplify a concerning trend where personal biases supersede the responsibility to provide fair and thorough evaluations. It's my hope that individuals like Dr. Hickman will take these reviews seriously and reflect on the impact of their actions on the lives of service members. Our military experiences deserve recognition, understanding, and proper care, even from professionals who may hold differing perspectives. *UPDATE to Owners Response: Dear Dr. Hickman, I felt compelled to respond to your reply to my initial review. I recently underwent another Compensation and Pension (C&P) examination, conducted by a different medical professional. This experience only reinforced my concerns about the quality of your evaluation. During this second assessment, I was provided with a standardized form to rate the challenges I face, an approach that was described as standard practice. This was notably absent in your evaluation, which limited the examination to a brief 20-minute interaction without a thorough discussion of my military service or its impact on my current condition. The second examiner consulted your report and it became abundantly clear that your evaluation was not only cursory but also biased. Your report seemed to focus solely on negatives, portraying me in an unfavorable light rather than offering an impartial and comprehensive assessment. It's disheartening to think that you, as a fellow veteran, would conduct an evaluation in such a manner that it could adversely affect another veteran's pursuit of rightfully deserved benefits."

"Yep. Guy is a joke. If you have a VA appointment with him DO NOT GO. Please please please go somewhere else. Waited 5 years for this appointment and only got 10 minutes of nothingness. Really disappointing."

"As above, I was in and out of his office in less than 20 minutes and was denied my VA claim. If you get him as an examiner be sure to change to a different examiner."
