Hampton Inn Litchfield

"I had a two-night stay and checked out a bit earlier. The front desk people are big scammers, please be aware! I requested a later check out today and they asked me what time I preferred when I asked about check out time. I was very happy when the frontdesk person said 12:30 pm wasn’t a problem. I was only 18 minutes late and went to check out at 12:48. The new person (different from the morning person) refused to listen, did not check the morning note and simply said that housecleaning is gone for the day and so she will charge me an extra day! Is this the kind of service you expect from Hampton these days? I even requested the late check out when I checked in on Thursday and she said that is not a problem at all and they are flexible! Cannot even keep a word ; totally fake assurance. I am not even upset about cold breakfast, broken shower drainage etc etc. Zero star rating!"

"I had broke down and was getting my truck repaired at the chevy dealer next door. I looked online and it was priced a bit higher than other local hotels but it was in walking distance. The thing I was not happy about was I was traveling with a small dog/pet and they charged me $75 additionally for her for a night! Good breakfast. Room was clean. Several restaurants within walking distance"

"From Texas on our way to Wisconsin we were exhausted. We were very pleased with the treatment at this hotel. Our room an shower were perfect for old folks. The breakfast was the best for hotel serving. The beds were so comfortable. We especially were pleased with the well lite parking an that the police drive thru. We certainly enjoyed our stay."

"This was a very comfortable place to stay, and pet friendly. the room was a good size, the bed was comfortable. The hotel was very conveniently off interstate 55, and there were plenty of dining options in the area. The hotel had nice grass area for walking your dog, with poop stations with poop bags. The breakfast was probably one of the most complete breakfast offerings at any hotel I've. Stayed at. The hotel employees were all very nice, friendly and efficient."

"Polite staff, clean room, and right off highway. Breakfast was okay, they did atleast have options even if they didn't taste so good. Both the waffle maker and toaster people couldnt get to work, turns out they were not fully plugged in ( so try that if you have that issue too) Nothing on website shows hot tub broken. Paid for jacuzzi room, but not told it was broken. Wierd contraption on the plug so it doesn't fit and can't turn jets on. Couldn't find staff few times went out to ask them about it. No help when did find staff either. Housekeeping did try to come in while still in room, even before checkout time. Front desk should really make sure this isn't happening. Pool is good, clean and nice windows around it. All the restaurants are right here as is the other hotel. Overall just expect stuff to be broken and get a regular room but it will be clean and mostly quiet."
