"My daughter visited the ER with postpartum breathing issues. The ER doctor did not even listen to her heart or lungs with a stethoscope or give her an examination to narrow down possible issues. He barely paid attention to her. It was VERY clear the goal was to rack up as much $$ as possible by ordering lots of very expensive tests without giving any individualized care, and no matter how many times we told them she had a 5 day newborn at home, it fell on deaf ears, as creating a large bill was the only goal."

"My tooth snapped so I had to go to the emergency room, first I want to the express center and the old women there was horribly rude and got mad I was irritated due to pain. So I went to the emergency room instead and I was in and out. I felt welcome, I felt cared for. Thank you to all the kind nurses and Dr. Schuster."

"My 84 year old widowed, frail and fragile, Mother in law was admitted to in-patient for some acute and chronic health issues. This morning she was told that she would be discharged home. She has a big family with many people to help her and one of her Grandchildren were planning to come after 3pm to pick her up. The hospital staff decided that they needed her room sooner than that and offered to put her in a cab if noone could come any sooner to get her. That is poor customer service!!! This could be one employee having a busy, overwhelming day and rushing to get their job done but all who work there should be made to treat everyone they are serving with dignity and respect!!! I truly hope that this isn't normal practice for those working for this organization. Hannibal Regional is a great resource to the area and hope that they will ensure that this treatment isn't standard practice, epecially for our most vulnerable."

"Presented in ER with a 2 yr old who fell down the stairs and hit her head. Lethargic and vomiting…and HRH allowed to sit in the waiting room for over 2 hours."

"Had some lab work done, and our insurance said they were in network, and it would cost $82. It cost $825 to check A1c. I guess you're better off with no insurance and getting your lab work done at the health department for $20. Will never go back or recommend. I posted a picture of my plan showing it was only supposed to be $82. Literally anywhere else would have been cheaper."
