Central Transport

"Driving through El Paso Tx on C 10-21- 23, this Central Transport driver driving at erratic speeds, up to 70-75 mph (in a 50 & 60 mph zone) in heavy traffic. When next to our car, purposely swerved toward our lane & sped up. Thank heavens only a cab without a trailer… If he’d had one in tow, the load would have shifted, fish tailed or he’d have caused a major accident. He tail gated other semis & smaller cars. I’m no fan of Central Transport due to this driver & the concerning service reviews."

"If you want your merchandise in a reasonable time frame, make sure NOT to go with Central Transport. We ordered something from Alabama on Jan 11 and still don't have it on the 25th. Every day for the last week we have been told "it's coming tomorrow." Finally we decided to go pick it up ourselves from their terminal but guess what, that is not allowed. So our merchandise is essentially being held hostage by Central Transport, they won't deliver and we are not allowed to go pick it up ourselves."

"Had a "please call me on arrival, hold on dock" shipment from Dallas to Odessa. Midland is the closest terminal to Odessa with only a one day shipping time. After 5 days I never got a call. Calling them is a horror story. Takes 10+ minutes for them to answer by a girl who cannot answer any questions. She transfers you to who-the-hell knows and they never answer! I'm not sure why my shipper switched to CT when Central Motor Freight was just fine AND they have a terminal in Odessa. I hope to never use this company ever again."

"Absolutely horrible. If you live in rural west Texas and intend to get your shipment within 2 weeks, you must avoid. We've had this happen several times (not because we keep trying them again but because the shippers keep believing Central Transport when they say it will arrive here in 2 days). My shipment has been at a terminal 1 hour away now for a full week. Every day their tracking says it is out for delivery today and of course, it doesn't show up. On top of that, we have collectively spent over 4 hours on hold with this company trying to figure out what is taking so long. No telling how much longer this will take as we still have not received our shipping at the time of this review. Seriously, how a business like this stays in business is beyond me."

"They have had my package within a 5 hour drive from me for a week now! It's nothing big just a set of doors for a Polaris ranger. I ordered expedited shipping and maybe Polaris dropped the ball on that but I could have had it delivered by horseback faster than this. And to top it off, they want YOU, the customer, to call and wait on hold for 20 minutes to schedule your delivery. I hope they go out of business and save others the headache I've went through"
