Through this time, I've seen her grow in her passion to play the piano, ability to read music as well as an increase in her maturity and accountability to practice daily. Lori has always displayed genuine kindness and compassion with lots of encouragement. With every lesson, she provides a welcoming learning environment, whether in her home or online. She is consistent with review and refreshing the prior lesson while building upon skills. She is not only my daughters piano teacher, but also her role model and friend."

"My children studied piano under Lori Willis for a combined total of six years. We felt so blessed to have the privilege of working with her. My children grew tremendously in their piano skills over these years, their repertoire including both classical music as well as modern movie arrangements and show tunes to keep it fresh and interesting. Lori has the unique personality of being both cheerful and fun, yet serious with high expectations. This is a wonderful combination in a teacher, as it allows children to feel relaxed and comfortable "being themselves" during lessons, yet not so playful that they don't take it seriously. She was wonderful at working creatively with me and my son when his interest in piano began to flag (when sports began to take center stage), and we were successfully able to build in motivators and make small-but-mighty changes in his repertoire that allowed his interest in piano to continue to flourish. She also worked creatively with my daughter, whose main instrument is her voice. Assigning piano arrangements to accompany voice as well as the necessary classical piano study, my daughter was able to incorporate her love for vocal performance with her piano study. Both of my children participated yearly in Certificate of Merit testing and each year passed with flying colors due to the excellent instruction they received year-round and the extra prep that was given to them by Lori in the months leading up to the testing."
