"This store had only one check out and the line was wrapped around the corner. The girl at the service desk was so rude when asked for another check out line. Also rude when asked about a bag with handles. For this neighborhood I’m surprised the store still exists."

"At this Jewel-Osco 1517 Sheridan Road, Wilmette store number “3471” on New Year’s Eve. I was accused of theft AFTER purchasing my items. I was approached by 4 employees there one being the manager and when I showed them my receipt only one of them apologized. I then contacted Wilmette police to file a report. This was a hate crime. I will be letting the local news know about this incident as well. Their excuse was that they had a lot of recent thefts at this Jewel but that’s not a defense towards the way I was treated. Common sense would be to ask the cashier if this guy purchased anything before actually confronting me. The general manager gave me attitude instead of apologizing. I’m glad I made a police report of this racist store. Never coming back here again."
