"My son has been a Bojangles guitar student for the past 3 years. He loves and admires his instructor and this has been the one activity he's stuck with for more than a few months. I think there is a "cool factor" by working with actual music artists and in an awesome guitar shop setting (Rockin' Robin). And as a parent I've really appreciated the ease and flexibility of scheduling lessons. It's been a joy being a part of the Bojangles family!"

"If you are on the fence about taking guitar lessons, then jumping over and going with Bojangles is the right thing to do. The co-owner, Liz Parks, is very easy to work with. She is very responsive and works with the students for any issues on scheduling. As for the instructor, Sean Cook, you can never go wrong with him. He will help you achieve whatever goal you have in playing the guitar. He listens to you and cater his lessons based on your shortcomings. He will take your guitar skills to the next level. Especially for beginner type students, such as myself, he will make sure that you go to the next step and not just teach you basics, which can be self-taught. I recommend this music school to anyone. You will not be disappointed."

"I've been taking guitar lessons at Bojangles for the past few months and have absolutely loved it! The owners, Shawn and Liz, are incredibly kind and welcoming. Shawn is an amazing teacher, patient, easy-going, and caring. I notice improvement in my skill after almost every lesson. Overall, Bojangles is the perfect environment to learn how to play and I could not recommend it enough!"

"From the very first interaction with Liz at Bojangles music school, I was immediately impressed with the ease and accessibility of their music school registration, as well as the prompt and friendly customer service. The positive vibes were off the chart . This optimistic attitude and approach was only accentuated by my first lesson (which was free) with Shawn. He is an instructor whose passion for guitar and watching his students develop, shines through in every session. Two words comes to mind to describe my experiences thus far, "unprecedented professionalism." I would highly recommend Bojangles music school to all ages that are interested in a remarkable journey of musical growth."

"Bojangles Music School in the Heights is fantastic. I don’t even know where to begin. Shawn (who grew up in the Heights) and Liz (the owners) are just awesome, kind, friendly, and engaging. The music studio is super cool. Each room is designed beautifully, their waiting room is comfortable and fun! They have a pool table, an air hockey table, and a TV in case we show up a bit early. But, what stands out the most are the instructors. My son takes guitar lessons with Shawn, and he has learned so much. My daughter takes piano lessons (on a baby grand piano!) with Blake. I could gush over Blake forever. He is an amazing musician himself, sings and plays several instruments. He makes the lessons fun and engaging while also very informative. My daughter has become a budding musician because of him. He also sends a short video note after each lesson so that my daughter knows exactly what to practice. I grew up taking music lessons, and the methodology and technical skills Bojangles teaches is top-notch. If you are looking for a great music school with fabulous instructors all while supporting a local business, definitely reach out to Bojangles in the Heights!"
