"From our own family's experience, we highly rate Lutheran High North. We have had two daughters attend and they have been well prepared for college work, high levels of expectation, and surrounded by caring adults and friends everyday of the school year. Faith is nurtured and lived by teachers and students. Leadership and varied experiences are fostered in even the shyest of kids. It is a school that is covered in the prayers of those who love Jesus and children. May God continue to bless LHN and all who grow there."

"Lutheran High North is not just a school, it's a family. As a graduate of LHN, and a current employee, I can honestly say that I have never felt anything but accepted here. The students respect and encourage each other, and always go above and beyond in the classroom and extracurricular activities. LHN absolutely prepared me for college, and beyond! I am definitely proud to be a Lion!"

"I have one child at LHN and one who will go there. I looked everywhere - public and private. The Band Program is amazing. Faculty are dedicated and care. Students are great. My child was at BHS Foreign Language Magnet before transferring to LHN. He was in all PreAP. He is just as challenged academically if not more so at LHN. I was not impressed with HISD overall. A few awesome teachers working in an impossible bureaucracy, Principal at BHS a great guy, but that system is so broken. My child is much happier at LHN. Go Lions!"

"This school is the worst I have ever been too. I am a senior that went here for 4 years and can tell you it is the worst of my life and cannot believe i didn't go to another school. Prison will be better for your children than this school. It is terrible The teachers care more about jackets and cell phones than they do with teaching. The school Just wants to waste your money on bill boards and buses. Don't go here. Just don't."

"My daughter is a freshman at Lutheran High North. Her only fears about switching to private school was uniforms and leaving her old friends moving on to public high schools. Within one week she said she loved it there more each day. Now we are in the 3rd term of the year and her sentiments are the same. As for the teachers, I believe the majority of them genuinely care about the success of the students and it's up to the parents to keep strong communication with them and monitor your students progress and grades. The faculty are wonderful, very caring and passionate about the students and the school. The only difference from public to private is that the parents are more involved in every aspect of the school from education down to sports. You wil also incur more out of pocket though. Don't get me wrong, not every parent participates, but there are definately more parents involved here. These teachers get paid less and volunteer more of their time before and after school to tutor, support and mentor in every way. You will not get that in a public school and if you do, it's very rare. We have full access to grades and get email updates almost weekly regarding grades. I know you won't get that in very many public schools because my oldest daughter went all 12 years!"
