"A family member attends to this school, he is a kid with disabilities and he has been bullied since the day he started attending to this school. Yesterday the verbal abuse became a physical aggression, he was assaulted by one of the bullies. The school didn't take this seriously, the kid was in pain all day, they only sent him with the nurse to rest. The parents were not notified about the insident and the bully did not get reprehended in any way."
"A medically complex kid has been bullied at this school since the beginning of this school year, that was not well managed by the administration and now this kid was grabbed from his head and shook him back and forward, calling him names. Nobody helped him, teacher wasn't in classroom, when she came back just sent him to the nurse station by himself, not with a guardian. Nobody called his parents. This poor kid was in pain, maybe his health was at risk because his medical complications and it seems like anybody in the school is taking this seriously. This was HARASSMENT !!!! This school is not a safe place. I hope the principal takes time to answer back to the parents of this kid and take care of this peoblem."
"Kids are not safe at this school. Bullies are allowed to hurt kids with no repercussions. Principal and teachers not able to control their kids and the victims have no protection. What would you do if your kid came home hurt after many times of complaining to thr staff and nothing has been done about it and the kids hurting individuals are not being reprimanded. Absolutely disappointed in this school."
"Worst school ever , my nephew he is a special child and today was assaulted by other kids, they hit his head, pushed him, and insulted him, he is just 11 years old and he feels scared of coming back to school, he was complaining of pain, dizziness and wanted to throw up, the principal and the nurse didn't called his parents, and neither send them a note. It is so frustrating when can't trust the school the people where you take your child to get education, this's should not be happening,"
"I used to be one of the students at Houston. It was...decent, I guess. Teachers got kids well educated, but the students didn't take it lightly. In my 5th grade Math & Music classes, it was horrible. My classmates in music were so disruptive, we didn't even do real work until Mid-October or Early August. In my math call, everyone hated the teacher. They always asked to go to the restroom & and were very disruptive. I was almost always the only normal one. My science teacher was good. Everyone in the school loved him, as well as my 6th grade reading teacher, Ms.J. They both teached their students well. Overall, this school was good, but the students could have been better. Also, before I go, the school had some strict rules, so be ready. But, that's it for me. Hope your future is bright, Houston. :)"
