"Coach James is simply fabulous, he himself is 5 stars. The other staff are quite rude to some and make exceptions for others."

"Others seem to have good experiences, but not us. Signed up for summer session of private lessons (expensive!). Coach was not great at all. While my child was in the pool right at :00 mark each week, the Coach would look around, talk to other coaches or parents walking by, and never started the lesson with my child until around :05 after. During the class, the Coach would talk to other coaches and not look at my child even after he launched off to start swimming. I seriously got worried I needed to watch my child to make sure he didn't drown or anything since coach didn't always pay attention. When the coach would talk to the coach in the next lane - that would be 5 kids at risk as the other class had 4 kids. The coach didn't really push my child at all and basically let him backfloat a lot of the time (since that's where he was comfortable) and would start the rings game at :20 after. So spent 10 minutes at end just messing around to grab rings. Never did any jumping off the side of the pool, never really worked on strokes or how to breath while swimming. Just ~10 weeks of wasted opportunity at private class rates. The last class, they were moving pools and while the other coaches hustled to start class a few minutes late, this Coach took her time and didn't start the lesson until :10 after (she was hugging people and talking to people while I waited...) . And of course, did rings for the last 8-10 minutes and class ended right on time. No acknowledgement that the class was shortened. Of course, no refunds either for all the missed time... The only highlight was when we had a makeup class due to the weather and that coach was AMAZING. I wished I signed up for her instead..."

"My daughter has been swimming here for about 2 years. Overall we are very satisfied with the coaches and her swimming has improved greatly. She loves it. The pools are well maintained with recent upgrades and improvements. The locker room and buildings are very outdated and not compliant with current codes (restrooms are not accessible). The biggest complaint is the administrative side - its like they run the organization by whatever needs to be done 'right now'. When we signed up for a family membership, the badge machine wasn't working so we didn't get a badge to access the gym. No big deal, since we mostly wanted to swim laps, but after a year of attending, we still didn't have one after inquiring several times. No one followed up, we had to keep doing it. My daughter was dropped from a class, even though I signed up for it due to an assumption made by staff; She was turned away after we showed up for practice because no one on site could help us resolve it. I was charged an extra $275 for summer league, and had to ask for a refund. They send text message alerts when the pools are closed due to weather, but recently the system stopped working and there's no insight on when it will be up again; we now have to check and refresh the website hourly to see if an announcement is made for closures. If the organization could invest a little into a business process program and refine their administration it would make it an amazing facility. However, the frustrations for the lack of consistency and confusion is draining."

"Coaches are professional and very well. But every time the front desk lady’s attitude is not good enough. That’s your job, if parents have questions want to ask for help, you have to take care of it. Please be patient and nice and good attitude!!!!!!! I already bear few times, but this time I have to let you know your attitude will influence on Dads Club’s reputation!!! If you want to be the best swimming club in Houston, in addition to have good coaches, should have to hire responsible customer service as well. Only looking for director’s email address, the lady very not patient attitude said: it’s on website… it’s first name and last name email. Are you kidding? If I know that, I won’t ask you any more! After spelling letters with bad attitude, she just said ok and hang up. OMG, if I had a business with this kind of attitude service, I’ll very feel shame for it and very sorry for my customer!"

"My son attended 3 weeks intensive course during summer. The coach was great. My review is mostly on how awful and poor the business process this place runs. There is no clear communication until at the very last minute on increment weather cancelation notice. We had to drive twice and got cancelation texts upon pulling our car to their driveway. There is no follow-up on how the missing classes will be refunded. I had to send a few emails just to get 1 line of information and the missing class is being credited - which is useless to us since we are not planning on going back to this facility. I am sure there are other great coaches, but pure lack of admin and business process is a great failure for customer success."
