"After you’ve been there for a while you’ll start to realize that the teachers like to hone in on the “profesional standard” and all you really end up learning is the basics due to that. Most people don’t even get to compete and the ones that due end up being the good highschool dancers, it’s a decent dance school but there’s definitely a lot of commitment to it"
