"I believe they pick students based on ethnicity. Like other reviews, they never respond to phone calls or emails. I filled a form online twice, went there and spoke to a teacher, he was very helpful and gave me an email address to someone named Christy. I emailed her and received a generic response, still waiting for an update since January. My neighbor actually referred me to this school but she’s Chinese, I am assuming they only take Asian students."

"Very Useless people I am sure the good reviews are from their family and friends not real Clients. I literally drove down and there was no one to attend to me, some instructor came and said I had to fill the form online . I did and it’s 3weeks no response. They dnt respond to calls or pick up always to voice mail. They dnt call back or respond to emails neither . Filled the form , visited the office and was told you have to wait for a response lolll"
"It has been a great experience for us!! My daughter started learning with Mr. Kris Walters since we made the move to Houston. Mr. Walters is patient, challenging and very professional the same time. Most of all my daughter enjoys the lessons and is eager to practice and learn more. MAH has worked for us!"
"I drive over an hour each way to take my two sons to Music Academy of Houston each week, and I definitely feel that the quality of instruction is worth the drive time! Kris Walters is patient with my youngest son, a beginning student, yet challenging for my oldest son, an experienced student. We found Mr. Walters after the oldest took years of piano elsewhere and the positive change in my son's playing ability has renewed his excitement to play again! The opportunities for students to perform at recitals and contests is also motivating and exciting for them. Music Academy of Houston offers a variety of of quality instructors and music lessons for a wide range of ages and abilities. Their instructors are accomplished musicians with education to back up the pedagogy of teaching younger students as well as those looking to perfect their talent. I highly recommend MAH."
