"Building is newer than the actual high school but still has similar staff and students."

"I have never felt or experienced so much discrimination and so unsafe in any of my children's school before. I have talk to the two principals & assistant principals about my son being bullied and physical attack by the same student several times and they did follow thru even though they have received other complains from students & parents. I have gone to the school twice and ask for the student to be removed from my son’s class and request for him to pay the consequences of his actions/ behavior but it was too much to ask. :-( he was never suspended!!! I have arrived to the point to ask if the school administration is afraid of him??? Also I really don't understand how the school allows students to show their underwear to everyone.... is supposed to be a "dress code” issue??? The Saturday of the Summer School registration, I was concern for my son's safety because of where the bus stop was set up, especially when the location is a Gang shooting area....but the Principal said ...in a very strong emphatic way “Sorry, I cannot help you, it is not my problem"!!! I was shock with her response… I though one of the number one priorities of the school is "SAFETY". Now I Know It is not a priority in Hastings Ninth Grade Center. I will not recommend this school to anyone. Is very unsafe and also the Principals & administrators are very disrespectful & discriminative to others. My son has being bullied from the beginning and he comes home very angry and disappointed from the school every day. I confirmed having the same experience every time I go to the School. For example… yesterday when I had to bring my son to the school tardy & I wanted to explain why to the "Clinic" Office but I was completed ignored and disrespect by the attendant....I wonder how the school is going to teach a good behavior to the students when the school administrators themselves have a horrible behavior to other adults specially "Parents"? How you can expect the "Hastings Ninth Grade Center to teach the young generation???? How we are going to have true education available when there is no conscience of doing the right thing between the adults working at the school as teachers or administrators? I notice that they seem to be so unhappy and angry all the time…I wonder why??? As “Common Sense “is not common anymore so…. doing the right thing is not as common as conscience... in the “Hastings Ninth Center”."
