"Principal should sit in on a civics class and brush up on the Constitution and some major supreme Court cases that occurred."

"To expell a student because she would not stand for the plende is demanding the school brainwash children. We in Europe are watching the USA and desperately see a country going down the toilet and this case shows how dangerous and damning some limited people are being."

"The principal of this school apparently does not respect the constitutional, civil rights of students. It is illegal to punish or exclude American citizens for not participating in ceremonies of loyalty. This has already been to the supreme court. Americans have the right of peaceful protest and that right has overwhelming court precedent. Please read the body of the pledge of allegiance and consider what it actually says. Particularly the passage 'to the republic for which it stands'. What it stands for is a free society protected by the constitution. Not an oligarchy where citizens are threatened with punishment for exercising their rights. You are on the map now Windfern High School. Please understand that when you mistreat students in this way a thousand more will protest in solidarity. You will not win this fight. Not in court and not in the community."
