"Initially had a spot held for Andrea as I read reviews and thought it would be the best fit. When we went in, Andrea immediately said “Is it actually for me or can she cut his hair” which I should’ve spoken up and said no, well wait but didn’t. My son, 4, who loves getting haircuts and making conversation with the hair stylist in most cases has no problem sitting still for his cuts because he’s busy talking with the stylist. Today, we saw Moza, who kept an AirPod in her ear the entire time. He attempted to make conversation with her, which was failed because she either couldn’t hear him or was ignoring him. She was cleaning up the back of his head while he was trying to talk to her and he moved slightly and she messed up the back & had to cut it shorter than we asked to fix it (it didn’t fix it). She then made a snide comment “I cut too short because he’s not listening and won’t sit still” which is incredibly rude, he wasnt doing anything wrong but trying to make conversation. Eventually I just gave him my phone to play games. It’s frustrating because if she would’ve just conversed with him like he was trying for, there wouldn’t have been an issue but he was just trying to get her attention. If you can’t make kids feel comfortable or welcomed, don’t take kids as clients."
