"Kari is genuine, compassionate, and incredibly passionate about what she does. She takes courses and classes to further her knowledge about child development and education. Due to covid, we decided to homeschool my first grader this year. Kari homeschools her own kids, so I knew she would be an amazing resource and partner for us and our son this year. She has come right alongside us in our homeschool journey and everything she gives him is right at the perfect level for him. She tries to give him things that he wants to learn about too, which of course he loves. Our 4 year old also attends Shalom Private Academy. She has a dairy allergy, and Kari has been phenomenal with that. Kari will double check with me before she gives her anything new to make sure it's safe. My 4 year old has just bloomed and grown so much socially and academically this year. Another thing my kids and I love is that they get so much time to play, create, explore, and just be kids indoors and outdoors at SPA. We also love learning about the Jewish holidays and traditions. I'm probably going to cry when my youngest goes to kindergarten because I'll be sad not to have kids at SPA. I fully intend to have Kari tutor my kids when they go back to public school because we'd miss her too much if we didn't attend SPA!"
