"My daughter attended StoneGate for 1 year her junior year. While I believe that some of the faculty and staff are doing the best they know how, the education is absolutely not up to par. The college readiness advising is outdated and not helpful. There’s no emphasis on STEM, and when I inquired about a computer class needed for a graduation requirement for the college we have chosen, we received no response. Many times, we inquired about educational items and requirements, and we received no response. We were not able to get transcripts for dual credit or early admission and scholarship opportunities. My daughter also reported the teachers intentionally employ shame as a disciplinary or intimidation tactic. Members of administration were often overheard calling the students "dumb." Our family had been looking for an affordable private school with small class sizes and preferred an environment where she could grow spiritually. Unfortunately, the school overreached in spiritual authority outside of school time and activities as well. This school simply missed the mark for our family. Please carefully consider this as you search for educational options."

There’s little emphasis on STEM, limited hands-on activities and everything is written. Worksheet after worksheet. The math instruction includes Biblical units like cubits, which I fail to see the relevance of. My daughter also reported the teachers (intentionally or unintentionally) employ shame as a disciplinary tactic. Our family had been looking for an affordable private school with small class sizes and preferred an environment where she could grow spiritually. This missed the mark and we’ve been infinitely happier with our new choice. Almost every week my daughter says, “I’m so glad we found my new school!” I understand each family's needs vary and I wish you the best of luck as you consider your educational options."

"I have two children currently attending this school; first and second grade. They are both learning immensely more than they were taught in public school, where they were enrolled last year. The small class sizes give the opportunity for one on one teaching at each student's level. Both of my boys are writing in cursive and doing math problems above their level. They love their teachers. My youngest is going to be in the school play, which is not an opportunity that he would have had at his old school. The price of the education is not really that expensive and definitely worth the cost."

"My son LOVES this school! It's exciting how he has made friends of many age levels because of the way the programming allows for mixed age grouping. The staff watches over him and makes him feel safe, loved, and special. Having him in a place where he is accepted, yet encouraged to grow has made us feel so contented...has given us peace and trust."

"This school has been a wonderful, safe, Christian environment for my child. From elementary to high school, it has been worth the investment to have our child in private school. The teachers and administrators are amazing and the kids are ready for college and beyond when they graduate. The instilling of a servant leadership world view impacts each student for life.
