Harmony Science Academy Euless

"First off, the school is dirty because they only have one cleaning lady. Most teachers that they hire barely speak English and they don't even read the student handout. There's too much bullying and drama going around with the school and the administrators don't do anything to stop. Having a 3 minute passing period to use the restroom, go to the locker, etc is not enough for us students, and students push everyone just to get to their locker and class. The food is really bad and they don't even make it look appetizing. The school is so cheap that they can't even afford to fix the AC. Each hallway has a different temperature and they said they can't do anything about it. This school has no field trips for the middle schoolers even though the high schoolers went to Atlanta. This is a bad rating for a school and they need to do better. Talk to the kids so they can behave and actually pay attention. Some teachers post assignments that they never tell the students about and they yell at us for not doing it. When we have substitutes, we don't get work."

"to start off , this school treats the kids terrible , the teachers and the staff . they say that they’re doing what’s best for the students but doing the complete opposite . the staff is rude to the kids . especially the front office lady , ms white & ms wally . they yell at the kids for no reason at all , resulting in some kids crying . especially staff like the principal & dean of discipline . they always find something to yell at the students for . & lord don’t get me started with the teachers . they’re always low on staff . if the original teacher isn’t there at the time , there’s usually no sub and another teacher that doesn’t have a class at the time has to sub . i’ve never seen an actual sub at the school . & let’s get on the bullying . there’s always bullying going on and if it’s reported , the teachers do NOTHING . they say they’re going to “investigate” but never do anything. they’re also broke , and never let us do anything . they’re so broke they can’t afford good school food . the school food is equivalent to jail food , not joking . the teachers and staff don’t care either . making us pay $3 everyday for lunch is crazy . like what if the students financially can’t support that and don’t have food at home ? they’re doing it because their broke and don’t have any money so they chose to make innocent student pay for something that they need to live , which they probably don’t want/can’t afford . and they’re so strict for what? i literally sat my backpack outside my classroom, then when i came back it was gone . how are you going to take my backpack that I PAID FOR away from me ? make it make sense . this school is so DIRTY too . the bathrooms smell like absolute garbage . all the time and every single bathroom . I WENT IN THERE AND SAW A ROACH. AND ONE FELL FROM THE CEILING . and don’t get me started on the crickets that are always around the school . & they give so much work for what ? do you not understand that people have lives outside of this school ? kids are having mental illnesses just by going here . 0/10, 0 stars, would NOT recommend for ANYONE . if you want to live a hell life go ahead, otherwise , don’t come here . the only nice teachers in 6-8 is ms simmons and ms mcdonald . they actually care for the students and treat them right . DONT COME HERE!"

"This is my kids' first year at Harmony ( Euless). I have to say I am quite happy. First of all the administration is very good. I have spoken to the Principal, Deans and Counselors. All of them have been so helpful and friendly. Next, the teachers have been so nice to myself and my kids. I have to say the teachers have also given my kids challenging work. I really appreciate the way Harmony and the teachers keep me in the loop, from their grades, behavior to the inner workings of HSA. I really appreciate this school. Thank you HSA"

"good morning, the staff of harmony science academy has me sick, since I removed my daughter for all its blessed rules on September 1, we spoke with Silva & the alleged assistant principal or alleged staff workers. Since my daughter is not going to return to that institution, the reason is because they do not have rules and the teachers do not give themselves to respect as what they are teachers, the most seniors of that institution are very accommodating with the boys and very few have professional ethics. As of September 1, I discharged my daughter because she was no longer going to endure any more discrimination, since last year she became frustrated with the fact that she was supposed to be the director at that time. And the straw that broke the camel's back was what happened with a supposed substitute teacher, it's been ten days since my daughter left school and for some reason they don't want to drop her, today I call by phone and first they don't answer second they answer and the person so kind hangs up the phone inappropriately, if you are really the director; I demand that you give it to my daughter from her institution; and they no longer retain the documents that they ask for in her new school. And what a pity that things are like this and that this institution has very ugly comments."

"First off I have to say that TEACHERS are GREAT for the most part. The one star is because of front office person(s), not speaking for all however the main one in the front, is not friendly, has an attitude as of she doesn't want to be there. I've heard her talk about others and I don't like the treatment. My child has even validated my thoughts and has stated other concerns that my child has witness how some of the staff has yelled to a student with an attitude. This is not how we as grown people should lead our next generation. We need to treat each other with love and care, never know what a child is going through at home. I get it, some teens get out of control however anger is and taking it personal is not the way to go. I hope some of the staff either find a job they are happy with or change themselves."
