"Private Christian School, Seventh-day Adventist. My son and daughter are loving their experience here. Teachers offer an education that is academically rigorous, yet they are willing to make appropriate accommodations for students with learning challenges. Extra-curricular activities like music, art, auto mechanics, stained glass, home economics, etc. are also offered. The sports program includes basketball, volleyball, baseball, golf, tennis, and acro-gymnastics. Lots of extended trips round out the educational experience. Freshmen: Bible camp Sophomores: Big Bend National Park (Biology) Juniors: Austin, San Antonio (Texas history) Seniors: Washington, DC (Government) Mission trips: 2 per year, domestic and foreign Acro team and music groups also participate in various trips. I also love that my kids are learning in a supportive Christian environment with lots of social activities offered evenings and weekends."
