"Has amazing teachers that inspire their students to do their best.....well all but the band teacher. This years band seemed more unorganized and uncoordinated than other band teachers. Not to mention she does not seem to know how to control her students."

"Went there from 1969-1973. Way back then, it was a prosperous area, with wonderful Teachers that I absolutely loved. Wood shop, metal shop, auto shop, leather shop, (too bad those were only for boys). I want to see this school become what it once was! Put some funding into it, fix what's wrong, and make the students proud of their school again!!!"

"The people who have given this school a bad rating did not give it a true chance to shine. Western hills is one of the only schools that has teachers who care about their students and not just "doing their job" . To name a few , Ms.price , mr.posey, Coach fonville , Ms.Penney/Walters, ms.copen. I mean really Western Hills is a great school that went through a lot of pain & is back and kicking . Cougar nation !!!"

"I graduated from WHHS 25 years ago in 1991, in the quarter century I have traveled a lot, had many jobs in many different fields and I see a cruel world and when I wonder why it's so shocking I realize I came from a great place, a great school in my years, great people in a great place! I love you WHHS thx for molding me into... me!!"

"I went here last year for my freshmen year. teachers are no help. teachers don't care about teaching they feel like once they explained a few times they don't have to explain or try to help me understand what theyre teaching. isn't that what teachers are supposed to do?!?! another time in Algebra 1 I was having a hard time understanding how to solve equations no matter how many times the teacher explained it then made a remark saying "well maybe you should get put in special ed since you aren't comprehending what im telling you" in front of the whole class. throughout the year I had many problems with the school an eventually left to an opportunity school. this school is the worse school ever attended !"
