Lakeway Marina

"I've rented two boats and one jetski from Lakeway Marina over the years. The first boat wouldn't plane out and only turned left (steering cable frozen). The second boat refused to plane out as well. The prop has clearly been changed in order to prevent high speeds which in turn causes the boat to NEVER plane out no matter if you have 1 passenger or 3 passengers. I've been around boats and jetskis all my life and no matter how much you work the trim their boats will not plane out. Don't even try to pull a tube or skier. If you enjoy you bow pointing to the sky going 15 mph and the engine RPM's redlined then this is the place for you!"

"Rental ready and waiting for us. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our time on the water and the return process was smooth too. Rental price seemed a little high but when your one of the few games in town take advantage."

"Nice location especially if you are staying at the Lakeway Resort. Its a small hike down to the water but there is an elevator option as well. Boat rental was average in price but worth the money since it has very cheap options for skis, boards, etc. The staff took the time to make sure we were setup and have everything we needed for our time out. They were friendly and helpful throughout the entire boat renting process.. The area had clear water where ducks, turtle and fish could be seen from the docks which was beautiful and unexpected. They also have snack food you can pay 25 cents to give to the wildlife."

"What a great place to enjoy evening with family. Friend and I along with our families went in the evening and rented a boat between 6 to 8 PM. Totally 11 of us in the boat. My friend comes here regularly and on his invitation, I joined him as we are visiting Austin. Initially my Son was afraid to do Tube as it was his first time. But after seeing my friend son doing tubing and he enjoyed it. Also, kids got into Lake and played as well. The lake is around 200 ft deep and it’s been marked very well at all places. There are many other Marinas in that lake. You will get Drinks, snacks at Marina and staff are very friendly."
