"I love Dr. Shields. I wish she works somewhere else. The wait on this office is crazy long. That’s another wait when you are in the waiting room."
"DO NOT waste your time and look for a different OB GYN. Their staff is so inhumane. I called to ask if Dr Shilds could see me this week as I am going through a miscarriage and their staff said she cannot see me until 2 weeks… not even trying to add me to a wait list for this week, as this is clearly an emergency. I am going through something so horrible mentally and physically and they didn’t even try to show a little of empathy. I come from a country where the medical staff will do anything to give you an appt or at least add you to a wait list for cancellations in case of an emergency. Even the doctors give you their personal numbers to text them or call them during weekends. Their appointments are not 5 minute talk with patients, they actually see you for about an hour or so to ensure all questions are clear. I thought Institute for Women’s Health was bad, this is much worse. I should have reviewed the most recent reviews before even calling."
"Staff is always friendly. Dr. Shields has been great through my whole pregnancy and after!! There’s been a few appointments where I’ve had to wait quite a while, but most of the time I’m in and out pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend!"
"Dr. Shields was very professional and kind during my visit. I'm definitely glad I've found a local OB/GYN since moving here and that I've overcome my procrastination. Though I've had one visit with Dr. Shields, she made my experience positive and simple, and the office staff is also really nice. Overall good and positive experience. Amid a lot of uncertainty in our world, it's nice to be reminded that there are people that truly care about your health."
"I love Dr. Shields, She is the best OB Dr. Around! She is so caring and really takes the time to listen and then will go out of the way to help you. She did my hysterectomy and has been my ob Dr. Ever since. My scaring all my surgeon's from other surgeries have always been so impressed with my thin scaring & healing process they all say she did a phenomenal job. I could not say enough wonderful things about her."
