"I gave two stars because of a few teachers and staff here are lovely. But overall this school is so unorganized! No one is ever on the same page. So many restrictions sooooo many restrictions! After elementary my daughter will not be going here anymore. I honestly see why she doesn’t like it here. Some of the staff are rude. The education is a bit mediocre as well. Your child will have a test but there is no way to help your child study and prepare for it. Your child either know it or don’t. I have to find her a better school. More polished, professional and organized. Do better Kipp climb!"

"I can honestly say this has to be my sons worst year attending Kipp, my son always has an issue with other kids bullying him, where are the teachers when it happens. My son defends himself then I have to put up with teachers calling me saying if my son has issues at home. School dismissal is the worst, I feel they take forever even once you been parked early."

"This is my daughters 1st year attending KIPP Climb, and I have to say that I am disappointed with the lack of communication. I have had issues since the 1st day of school. My daughter had to miss the 1st week of school due to her dad being sick. Before the school started I spoke to her teacher, and she was aware of the situation. She did give me the contact information for the attendance ladies. I called multiple times, and even sent them text messages. I never heard from neither ladies. Someone from San Antonio called me and said they were out helping the school so I told hither the situation about my daughter and mind you I had also just had a baby. The lady I spoke to notifies me that she will reach out to the attendance ladies and when my daughter is able to go to school their will be no issues and that will be her 1st day of school. Well a few days later she was withdrawn from school due to not attending. When i had already spoken to someone in regards to her absence. Pick ups is another big issue. Parents start waiting since 11am After that I have had to reach out a few times and never get a call. No one is ever available at the front desk. This s. That is ridiculous. They need a better system so that it does not take so long to pick up your kid.The school is just bad with communication, and some teacher just have bad attitudes. They definitely need a staff change. I have been considering just taking my daughter out of this school and going with another district."

"I have had a very good experience with KIPP. So far my child has been attending ONLY virtual at KIPP, which is the reason I did not give it the 5 stars because we don’t have the in-person experience. Virtual school has been great and Mr. Adams is a very patient teacher who keeps kids involved."

"Teachers and staff were great the whole Kipp system though I’m not too sure that’s the right fit for everyone. Update: 08/2019 I wanted to take the time to write a helpful review since my son attended this school from kindergarten to 2nd grade. The school was founded with a great school leader which unfortunately left the last year my son attended. After she left in my opinion the school was just not the same. They are a no excuses school which is a good and bad thing at the same time. I say it’s a bad thing because they take it to an extreme. They have zero tolerance for normal children behavior. There is a behavior chart and your kids will be (off the team) if they don’t “follow instructions” which can be for very minor things. Kids are expected not to move around so much not to talk and if they do when they’re not supposed to, they will single them out and make them feel like they’re extremely bad. This is what I mean by no excuses. I got sick of their whole system! I felt like my child had to be perfect so that he could earn all these nonsense privileges. The learning part never bothered me although for some parents this is also a problem. Weekly homework packets and summer Christmas any type of break packets. They try to brain wash you saying here at Kipp we believe the way to get to college is by working hard which is true but they use this to manipulate you into all of their ideas. There is nothing more than any parent wants than to provide a great education for their kids and this school takes advantage of that because they make it seem that their way is the best way even if you and you’re kids are miserable. My child is at a great public school now which earned several distinctions and he’s happy he’s not forced to make a bubble with his mouth and he’s having delicious hot meals and is loving his recess and physical education class that he did not have before while also receiving great education. Im also happy he’s with a teacher with 31 years of teaching experience. Do your research and follow your instincts ... that’s my recommendation to any parent!"
