"Im so disappointed in The Staff not Dr.Ellis. I drove all the way from Houston to see doctor Ellis, they didn’t tell me that they moved, I wasn’t given a new address. I’m in horrible pain from my ovaries I had a cyst rupture went to the er and they told me to come see my gyno. Drove from Houston Tx to San Antonio to be told I was at the wrong location that they haven’t been here since November. Very unprofessional I told the secretary at this location to let them know I came all the way from Houston she didn’t. They said we are just going to have to reschedule you. Like how? if it wasn’t my fault? The biggest reason a chose a female doctor is because males dismiss woman issues all the time. I would know I had to beg, beg a male doctor for 3 years to remove a 9pound fibroid tumor from on top of my uterus. To be dismissed just like that. Now what do I do? I’m in horrible pain, crying in my car. Wasting resources just to make it here to be told, you need to reschedule."

"This was my first visit to women’s health institute. They were very busy and waiting room was full but they still got me in and out of my appointment pretty swiftly. I appreciate not having a long wait time in either the lobby nor the exam room. Got all my questions answered and felt very comfortable with Dr Ellis. I hope all future visits will be this pleasant. Following up on this one year later the dr is only seeing patients at Wiseman location and it is an inconvenient location for me to travel. I will have to find a new Dr that is closer to me."

"I could write a novel about how incredible this woman is. She is revolutionary in her field and her level of compassion is incredible. Dr. Ellis supported me through so much during my pregnancy and never faltered in providing me with the most outstanding care that kept my wants and needs for bodily autonomy and a natural birth at the forefront. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring, and fiercely dedicated to patient care. I cannot recommend her highly enough."

"I have been a patient at this office for over 21 years. Unfortunately, my doc recently retired. I scheduled a visit with a new Doc and when I arrived to the bldg., the parking ramp was super packed! I had to park on the 9th floor to go down to the 4th floor to walk through the bldg. to get the elevator to the 7th floor to reach the office. When finally arriving, I stood at the entrance for a several mins waiting for one of the 3 ladies at the front desk that at that moment had no patients with them, to call me up. The 3 ladies were chatting. Also, I had already checked-in online as they requested to “speed the process”. By the time I was called to the front desk, I was considered 20mins late! Per the lady at the front desk, Dr Ellis’s nurse said I was too late and had to be rescheduled… what is very frustrating to me is that the cause for my delay was completely out of my control! I tried to explain this and showed my parking ticket as proof that I was there with plenty of time. In over 21 years, I have always been on time and never missed an appt. Normally, once you sit in the room and they finally call you in to see the Doc, they place you in a another room to wait an additional 30/40mins before getting seen anyway. Could the additional 5 min delay (15min late allowed) have made such a huge difference? Needless to say, I have already found another OBGYN Dr.- And BTW, per the lady at the front desk, checking-in online makes no difference on speed, she said, the clock starts when they call you at the front desk. Very disappointing!! I wasted a day of leave because of this issue. It was the first time I had seen the ramp so busy…."

"Doctor Ellis is great!! She goes over everything with detail, she is very professional and great. My visit today was very good and the lady at the front desk welcomed me since I was a new patient. She was always smiling and she treated me with respect."
