"I’ve been coming to Blu for many years, and I’ve had Timm for a stylist for almost 6 years. He is absolutely amazing and always listens to what I want done for my hair. He’s a complete expert! The environment there is always welcoming and bustling. The owners thought of everything when they set up this gorgeous space. Love their collaborative effort by the whole team. That is part of the charm that is Blu. It’s a fun way of getting to know everyone around there. They all make you feel so at-home and recognized every visit. I cannot recommend the salon/Timm enough!"

"Can I make it a 10!? This was my first visit to Blu and from the moment I walked in the door, the friendly feel could not be missed. They were busy but friendly and warm, not at all pretentious. When I sat in the chair, Charles shared his experience level, I was at ease and felt like I was in good hands because not many stylist in St. Louis are well versed with stylish pixie cuts. He listened and consulted and talked through what I wanted short and long term goals (with my hair!). The foils went quickly and as each apprentice or stylist came up he talked them through what he was doing. This is going to sound silly, but the wash bowl was a fantastic experience. One of his daughters washed my hair with a shampoo that was DIVINE and the scent intoxicating. The scalp massage was so relaxing, just the right amount of pressure which made my 2 week eye twitch stop! I splurged and got an eyebrow wax while at the wash bowl and she did a great job. The cut was so fast and absolutely PERFECT! The color was what I wanted without knowing it was what I wanted. It’s like he read my mind. It was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for sometimes and the expertise and outcome was completely worth it. I need to go back and get that dang Heart of Glass shampoo…it was that great!"

"This is such a great salon, everyone is so friendly! I always feel like a movie star when I leave the salon, and Riley does such a great job that every day is a good hair day, even up until the day I go back for a touchup. Highly recommend! Prices are super reasonable for the excellent services they provide. I especially look forward to the scalp massage they provide during the hair wash—so relaxing! I started going after my daughter went a few times, now all of the girls in my family go!"
