"Hammel Woods is one of my favorite spots to take a long walk and enjoy the scenery. It can be fairly busy and you do have to watch for cyclists, but it's overall a great place to get your dose of nature."

"Very busy path, someone else was within sight most of the time. Parking lots available in multiple areas around, so there are multiple entry points. The paved path is beautiful. The natural paths are not clearly marked and do not seem to be well maintained. Multiple fallen trees within walking areas, even on a staircase that you must step over to continue on. Goes along busy streets, so you can often hear and see traffic. Saw a couple birds but no other wildlife along the way."

"Great place to explore for family hikes yet also has a nice trail for bike rides and many wide open park spaces. Quiet and relaxing while still near a busy area. Check it out!"
