Mission West Elementary School

"The worse school I have ever put my daughter in. Last year my daughter was physically assaulted by a Male student (punched) school refused paperwork or removal of the child. Reported to FBISD police where I made a report and called student affairs the principal was let go because of multiple incidents. This year my daughter was assaulted in December in the bathroom. She hasnt wanted to go back there since Christmas. She cries every morning. The assault was brought to my attention by another parent at the school who's daughter's witnesses it and told a teacher then told her mother. School principal and teacher did nothing and I found out about this in April after my daughter scratched herself out of anger because she didnt feel safe at the school. I have since then contacted student affairs and I'm just now getting a response from Sargent Bennett with FBISD police whom I filed a report with regarding this situation and 2 other students who have been stealing her lunch which teachers admitted to knowing and didnt even report it until I did. My daughter is seeing multiple Doctor's trying to learn how to cope with being sexually assaulted in a girls bathroom where a boy also was. This school deserves state funding pulled and to be shut down. The staff is not qualified to handle anything and will be held accountable for their actions. I speak about going to the news and now they want to met with me if I will keep my mouth shut. There was also an incident where there was a code red and shut down because another student brought a pellet gun to school. The administration didnt feel parents needed to know and didnt sent out anything regarding the issue. They obviously don't care about the safety of the students and the students are telling the truth when they say they don't help. Parents please listen to your kids. "this school is legit trash. Everyone hates the teachers, the teachers suck and don’t pay attention at all to you. I’m in fifth grade here and it’s basically prison being here. Extended day is trash too"

"The front office staff is terribly unprofessional! The lack of supervison and attention to students is sad! It is very disheartening to see this school take such a down hill spiral in the last two years.
