"I love this school! My oldest daughter started in the 1st grade and coming from a school in H.I.S.D. with a high student to teacher ratio she didn't get the attention that she needed. She was kinda lost in the shuffle. But once she started at McNeil, the teachers really took the time to work with her. My youngest daughter is a handful and I was concerned with her starting school because she didn't go to Pre-K so learning in a structured environment of course was new to her. As usual I cried the first day of school, but the staff was kind enough to let me come to class with her even on extra days until I felt comfortable. They are not a one size fits all public school. Their teachers and staff seems to really care about the educational development of their entire student body."
