"I’m not too particular about this location, especially the bakery section. There always seems to be an issue. I tried to place an order for a cake and was flat out told that they are not taking any orders due to them not having a decorator. So what are the other workers doing???? Why not place a sign stating that they are unable to take cake orders due to them not having a cake decorator??? On top of that, the customer service is terrible and clearly they don’t want to be bothered!!!! Do better!!!!"
"Yesterday I had picked up my order to find that they packed the wrong item. I was in the middle of cooking with my friends on the way. I called and Scott (Manager) went out of his way and delivered what I needed. He saved the day. Much appreciated."
"Good selection, spacious, clean, and productive staff! Everyone seemed to be busy organizing merchandise but was friendly and helpful when I needed help. I liked that it wasn't crowded at all (weekday afternoon). It was also nice to see a lot of the customers were still wearing masks (I'm fully vaccinated and not anti-vax in any way, but it's nice to see people being cautious)"
"Believe it or not, they have a great liquor section. If you know what days they put out the prime stuff, you can get top-shelf bourbon like Brother's Bond or Blanton's."
"Typical blah Jewel, not what you would expect in Highland Park. Sunset foods is more HP, Antons offers more fresh selection and Woodman offers far more selection and better prices."
