"Being a new patient and reading reviews about staff, I have to say I was nervous. Dr Kolar came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. She listened and explained! She made me feel reassured and at easy. Plus all four other staff members that I came in contact with, Kim, Erica, Sandy and Susan were very professional and super nice while being crazy busy at same time."

"A few Mondays ago, I had an appointment for 11am. I didn’t get called to go back until 12pm. I sat in a gown for an hour and finally laid down to take a nap before Dr. Kolar came in at 1pm. I wasn’t out of there until almost 2. On a workday. Staff were just walking in and out of the room, without warning, with me in my gown, like it was nothing to barge in on my privacy. It’s a very vulnerable experience yet also feels disrespectful and dehumanizing at the same time. Her staff said this wait time was very normal and seem confused that I thought this was crazy. No one gave me a heads up, no one let me know what kind of wait to expect. When I asked if I could have the first available doctor instead, I was told, "We don't allow patients to switch around out of respect for our doctors." What about respect for the patients? I understand that Dr. Kolar had had a difficult delivery in the morning. I still could have been warned in advance that this was the case and given a heads up or an opportunity to reschedule. Everyone's time is valuable, not just the doctor's. I will not be back."
"I have been using Dr. Kolar and her fabulous nurses since 1992. I have had the immense privilege of having her be my OB in the birth of my son and also my GYN all these years. She is not only a wonderful doctor, but feels like a good friend as well. She provides the perfect balance of concern, education, and treatment. I can testify that she is a skilled and practiced surgeon as well. The always crowded waiting room attests to the fact that she is very good at what she does - and very popular."
