"Cashier was nice and friendly, store was well stock however when I enter the store 3 employees were talking ans a flat bed was sitting in the middle and I had to walk around it and I was acknowledge."
"Store hours says they’re open until 12am, but when I arrive at 11:45 to just grab ONE item I’m not allowed in! 3 workers were just standing in front of the door & when Im walking up to the door they all do the hand across the neck, like No. Bad business & customer service! I get y’all close in a few minutes, but instead of allowing me in to grab my one item you’d rather have employees stand around milking the clock instead of making the company money. SMH change your hours or get a better manager for night shift who doesn’t mind actually keeping the store open the correct hours. Do better Jewel, y’all keep going downhill."
"I used to go out of my way to shop at suburban Jewel stores but they aren't run any better than the ones in Chicago. It's apparent that they've been bought out.by Kroger, so that would explain everything. Jewel stores have become the pits....the bottom of the barrel. At least we still have Fairplay, Walmart and Pete's Fresh Market."
"Store is messy and understocked. Rude cashier and the bagger threw my items in the recycled bags that I use. I requested that the meat items be placed in a vinyl bag together and the cashier kept questioning me. After the meat was placed in the bag I provided she slid it to me and said "here's your meat " really snarky. I normally shop at 115th and Kedzie even though I live in Oaklawn. That store is much cleaner and the employees friendlier."
