"First time visiting this office. Usually, I don't do reviews. First of all I was kept waiting in the the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours exact until the practitioner got to me. No one came to me and checked on me to at least say sorry for delay but so and so will be with u. No acknowledgment what's so ever. I was about to get up and leave I thought they had forgotten about me. I slept for two and a half hours in their waiting room. I was about to leave. I've never in my life slept in a doctor's office to be seen. Secondly, I made sure before I left if they could plz call in my prescription today. I hate waiting at walmart for prescriptions so waited till 4:15pm to pick it up and was told they had no prescription at all. I then called the office and young lady said i’m sorry guess they forgot to call it in and let me check and will call it in. I'm disappointed in the way they operate. I know a doctor's Office can be hectic with patients but at least make sure there's someone in charge of calling in prescriptions. Very unprofessional office. Maybe for some ppl its ok to wait hours and hours to be seen but I have better things to do.! This reflects on Dr Jerod and probably he doesn't care less but he should…."

"They take FOREVER to attend you! I arrived before my appointment to be seen and they ended up just calling me at the time of my appointment??? Then my ultrasound not being done correctly? Them not even listening to what I have to say about my pregnancy? Being told “well no one really knows when you got pregnant so” like ma’am I clearly know when and I’m telling you? I’m 37 weeks and don’t know anything about my baby’s weight or anything?!! That’s not even including that I haven’t even met my doctor once and I’m already close to giving birth."

"Absolutely LOVE Dr. Mendez & Nicole! I cannot say enough positive things about them! He’s absolutely the best doctor to deliver with & Nicole is great at answering any and all questions when I saw her in the office. They’re all extremely nice & not alarmist, so it makes the experience amazing! The receptionist can be blunt, which to some may come off as rude, but honestly she’s so super busy & just trying to get to everyone quickly, so I never had a problem being put on hold or waiting for her to finish something. Definitely not a reason to not go to this office, I would totally have my 2nd child here. 10/10 would recommend!"

"I’ve been coming to Dr.Mendez office since 2020 & can give an honest review. This was my OB doctor for my first child and now my second child. The staff is great and so are the doctors, I’ve NEVER had issues with any of them. I see a lot of negative reviews on the receptionist heather, but she’s not mean at all and is just doing her job, trust me when I say don’t take it personally, she’s having to juggle so many things at once but is honestly a nice person. And yes there was a different receptionist prior which was Debby and now she works in the back she’s a sweet heart too! Overall the environment is welcoming, the staff is amazing, the doctors under Dr.Mendez are awesome and answer any questions you may have, yes you will see them more than you will Dr.Mendez, I believe you see Dr.Mendez 3-5 times and it’s usually at the end of your pregnancy. I don’t honestly see any issue with it since the doctors under him can answer any questions you may have. Regardless overall, I love that I chose this doctor for BOTH my pregnancies and I wouldn’t change ti anyone else. Hope this helps any soon to be moms or anyone trying to find a new OB."
