"Lady answered politely but not accepting walk-ins isn't helpful with people or family's. My baby gets sick from school around others kids and having rapid assistance would be nice. For walk in she said till a whole month. This isn't a place of your looking for immediate Care."

(Only draw back with UHS clinic system is personel change frequently and or are not always well prepared for their roles and dealing with people. )"

Rest assure she gives you her undivided attention. She has referred me to excellent doctors to rule out medical issues or seek treatment. I relocated to Brownsville and rest assure I still drive to McAllen to see her. She is an amazing doctor and would highly recommend you see her."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Salinas for over 10 years now, she is amazing, she takes the time to talk to patients and listens to them, I like going there because I have gone to other family doctors (when Dr. Salinas is out) and I always get seen by a Physician Assistant at other offices, never met the Doctor. At Dr. Salinas office, she has always been the one seeing me, never been seen by a PA. However, the wait is usually long even with appointment, but most Dr. offices work like that, not sure why but it is what it is. But I will rather wait and get seen by a Doctor and not by a PA."

"I started going to see Dr. Salinas in Sept for these spasms I was getting. And still am. She neglected to chart on me in detail. And didn't really know what wad wrong. She failed to send me for a low back MRI which is what I requested when I was first going and my deductible was met. She was always coming into my exam room scattered brain and not wanting to diagnose me. She would tell me one thing and not chart it. Then the new year came and my deductible went back to high and by then I had no extra money for the MRI she ordered. I requested for a Rheumatologist and she said no cause they are hard to get into see. My cholesterol levels were high and never addressed that. My insurance ended up dropping me cause of her lack of charting. This was a leave of absence from work. Her office staff were not organized and seemed uneducated medically. I am so hurt that she allowed for this to all happen. I was always patient with her and her staff and I am still in the same pain with same Symptoms. She also lied and tried to cover her butt when I appealed my insurance. I didn't deserve to be treated as such. And now have no insurance and no diagnoses. The medical field here in the south of Texas is not very caring. Dr.'s seem like they have no idea what they are doing and scared that if they diagnose you, they will be sued. I have prayed over this dr and I leave justice in God's hands."
