"The teachers here are more concerned abt their outfits with matching boots than the safety and well being of the kids. My child came home today informing me that for the 3rd time this year she was pushed down and has a mark above her eye after hitting a table. And of course NO call or message that my child was harmed. Yet if she talks or asks difficult questions a note or a call or a class dojo message is quick to be delivered. Maybe new mom's or 2nd year teachers should reevaluate if they really want to be a teacher. But maybe not in this case. Light needs to be shined onto the teachers at Wilshire. "I have 2 daughters, my oldest started 1st grade here & is now in high school, my youngest is in 5th grade now. Although thru the years most of our favorite teachers have moved on we have gained some wonderful new ones. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for their children to start & finish in one school."

"Its really good but not good for 4th grade. Theres a weak boy and he always taddles.He gets lot of people in trouble.Lots of bullys in the grade.Im in this grade.But do not abuse the taddletail in any way.He is bullied a lot.And i say you should not roast him or say one bad thing about him if you do and spots you he will just tell but some may not care and go on with it. "Hello everyone! My daughter was assaulted at school today and the school authorities are treating it as a mere accident although a little girl took off running and hit my daughter in the eye with her FIST which caused swelling and bruising. It saddens me that the school authorities would treat such situtation as a mere accident, stating the girl was sorry and they will continue being friends. It saddens me that ANY child would feel that this is okay, especially when I teach my children to NEVER hit unless forced! I spoke with the assistant principal at this school and I believe her actions were not in line with the situation. I have spoken with my daughter to receive her point of view in regards to the situation and what I got was NO ACCIDENT! If I were to take off running towards another individual and have my fist bald up I would be preceived as a threat! So why is it, that I have to go to the school for my child's protection and hear, "oh, it's small thing"? My daughter is in the second grade and her first two years of school, she attended South Euless Elementary. Was it perfect? No! But never did I get a call from her school nurse saying she was assaulted by another student while in their care! I have been on the phone with school district since before school started, working deligently to get my daughters into a decent school. Clearly my efforts went unseen and caused the heartbreak that we received on today. The point of my post is to let EVERYONE know to PROTECT your children AT ALL COST! The schools will not protect them but yet force them into an environment that most likely does not meet their safety needs as parents would! The story doesn't make any sense, the words they are feeding the guilty party does not correct the wrong doing committed towards my child today! Are these kids? Yes, but definitely old enough to know right from wrong! I teach my kids right from wrong and if I didn't, trust me, they would find some type of way to do away with my children and me! I am sadden by the lack of concern surrounding this accident! I am sadden that this has been addressed as "small kid stuff". The other little girl lied (at first) then released the truth! My daughter also said that Mrs. Allison got mad at her and didn't listen or address her concerns or the situation appropriately (in my words)! Mrs. Allison, I bet you feel a bit small once learning that A' Raya was actually the victim in this case or did it even matter to you because it didn't involve little Sara or Lacy? Wilshire Elementary is roughly 15 minutes away from where we live, tell me again why my daughters aren't allowed to attend a school 5 minutes away from our home when request to transfer forms were sent in long before last school year ended! By all means, have your rules and regulations but they MUST NOT affect the two children (or any furture children) of mine! If my daughter was at South Euless Elementary this year, I know for sure, assault against my child WOULDN'T be the case today! Sick of the lame rules and regulations that clearly put my children in harms way! H.E.B.ISD I need a solutoin and a quick one! Oh, did I say that the assistant principal couldn't pronoune my daughter's name correctly? Lol, that is funny because I as a parent will be heard and or seen but yet you don't know how to say my child's name? Who are you again? But you're geniuely concrened! Let's wonder for a second, the actions you wouldv'e taken if it were your little Jimmy, Sara, Bob, etc. etc., any of them! Yours truly, A hurt and angry mom!"

"Keep your kids away if possible. This is a test driven school full of bullies. All they teach and focus on are STARR Test. Common sense and knowledge that can be used in everyday life is not taught much. The teachers are sweet and kind and work so hard only to be held accountable for STARR Test scores. It's very sad to me."
