"worst experience ever , it was my first time going and they caused me to get a seizure while taking out my blood after i told them multiple times to stop, and they rudely kicked me out after, didn’t check me at all and told me to leave. do not recommend at all , the doctor even proceed to tell me i don’t know how to tell when i’m about to get one even thought i have gotten them for years. tried to make it seem like it was normal, didn’t check my baby at all. changed that same week! awful"

"Doctor is fine, but the people working for him are useless. Appointments are pointless and require entire day off; they’ll schedule you for a 9am appt but sonogramist won’t arrive until noon."

"They take advantage of being one of the only gynecologist in Laredo. They don’t care about your time only money. Your appointment time is pointless. You will wait at least 3 hours every visit. Nurse also told my wife she would have a miscarriage and prescribed her some pills to take. A day later she calls and says don’t take them because maybe she was wrong. Luckily she didn’t take them."

"Dr. Benavides is one of the nicest and a truly caring doctor! He's delivered 5 of my 6 babies. I trust him entirely and always recommend him to other expecting mothers. However the rest of the staff is not of quality. Since 2021, there were many instances were the office staff made me cry but I would ALWAYS blame it on my pregnancy hormones and just swallow the issue. And I mean several but I will just name a couple here & Honestly, office personnel do not take it well when you address an issue; they lack customer service skills in my opinion. Even one time one of the NP continued to smile and nod her head when I expressed how difficult of a time I was having because my brother suddenly passed away. She offered no emotional support and was out of the room within a minute of me expressing how I was feeling. My last straw was when I got a phone call by their nurse and she made me feel horrible for not asking the receptionist for her name. It felt like she was blaming me for the poor communication amongst the staff. I'm just a patient. And maybe my hormones are making me sensitive but my husband heard the entire phone call and was extremely upset hearing the way the nurse spoke to me. I'd been on the fence about switching providers because I absolutely love the care Dr. David provides but the staff is a deal breaker especially since I see them more than I see Dr. David. I'll sadly be leaving this place and seeking OB care elsewhere. :("

"I just want to acknowledge the Nurse Practitioner Mel. She is absolutely lovely and patient. The 2 times I went with her she has a huge smile on her face, very welcoming and professional. I always saw Dr.Gutierrez and was nervous to see someone new. My visits were quick and very thorough."
