"Milk has 4 days to expiration, all the way to the back of the shelf. I know for a fact Prairie Farms comps for outdated when they deliver as I've managed retail grocery so I guess just habitual greed behavior because why? Then up at the checkout, the cashier (yay for her) finds the cap is leaking but it's somehow my job to both take it to the dairy stocker and find a (another close dated) replacement. I'm already on the clock shopping for a client. She doesn't pay me to work for Pete's. Not a great experience tbh. Upped it to 3 stars because typically it's a little more mid than this lower end day of shopping."

"Love love LOVE this place! Moved to Troy about a year ago and found this gem. Food has always been great, and staff friendly and helpful. After meeting their manage Lisa, I understand why. Also make sure you check out Kelly's Butcher Shop located on premises. Oh and their cooked items are in my weekly rotation. DEFINITELY recommend!"

"1st time shopping here and will be going here alot it's weird to say a grocery store is gorgeous but it is. Love the colors and atmosphere! Extremely clean and lots of variety that beats Schnucks and Dierbergs prices and you cannot forget Kelly's Butcher Shop. The best butcher and prices around. Thanks for bringing a great store back to Troy!"

"This may be the best small town grocery store anywhere. I visited today and was greeted by the huge smile and welcoming words of Jackson, a special needs young man sporting an employee of the month pin on his collar. The produce was beautiful - large peaches and plums, fresh cherries, flawless cauliflower, melons, peppers, and more, everything I needed. Kelly's Butcher Shop provides the meats, poultry and deli. They have Boars Head deli meats and cheeses, fried chicken, potato salad, and more. There's a good-sized liquor section with a variety of wines and beers. There's also a walk-in beer cooler for bulk beer if you're having a party. There's a nice dairy section, frozen foods, pantry staples, cleaning supplies, all the basics. They can't carry every brand a huge supermarket has, of course, but I was able to find what I needed. The store recently opened so checkout staff are still figuring a few things out. Everyone is nice and the store is clean and well-appointed. I'll be a regular."
