"Let me start by saying the salon was very nice, very clean and had a great set up. Ne’Kia was very kind and answered all of my questions and was very accommodating. My stylist moved further away and the boho braids aren’t her specialty so I was trying someone new. The braids turned out pretty but weren’t as full as I’m used to with only one curl being added to each braid and curls added to the end. A few days went by and I contacted Ne’Kia due to whole curls coming out of the braids. Which means they weren’t secured enough. She told me she would be in that day until 5. I told her I worked til 6 but didn’t hear back. I was leaving the following day for vacation and no other time was offered to come in to fix something that shouldn’t have been happening. I get the curls matte and you have to detangle but that wasn’t the issue. I have posted below how the girls simply came out of the middle of the braid. This continued constantly though my whole trip where I now only have curls at the bottom. I paid a lot more than I’m used to at $300 and had much higher expectations because of the cost. I never heard back from her so I’m just leaving the review here. I unfortunately will not be coming back."

"I've gotten a few different style done from braids, olaplex treatment to trim/silk press. I am always very happy with my results but, with my last visit I realized how versatile Nekia skills are. I got a silk press and color. I was looking to tone down even out my color. My results were better than any previous color treatment I've received (at previous salons). Not only did my grey hairs get and hold the color, she paid special attention to my hairline dying all my baby hairs. She was able to obtain my desired look without bleaching. With every visit the process and upkeep is explained to me. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the area is extremely clean."

The owner is kind, thoughtful, patient, and really does care about your hair. She takes the time to explain everything, and is ALWAYS on time and ready to start when you arrive. You will never be sitting around waiting for her to arrive or finish another client. You can tell that she takes pride in her work, and makes sure that you are satisfied and happy before you leave. You will not regret going to this salon!"

"I started going to Nekia in August of 2022. It was refreshing going to someone so professional, organized, and fast! I started off going to her for braids, but have since received a silk press and trim as well. My hair is more manageable after she did the silk press and trim. I hadn't gone to a professional stylist to get my natural hair washed and straighten in nearly a decade, because my past experiences had been so horrible. Nekia will have my business from now on. I can't wait until my silk press appointment later this month!"
