"Absolutely traumatized. I went to go get a reddish auburn color and the lady dyed my roots a "darker color because of hot root" she said, but it ended up significantly lighter- like 5 shades lighter. She tried to tone it down with 4c, but she did not leave it on long enough at all and now my roots are bright shiny red and the rest of my hair is the right color. She trimmed my hair, but didn't even trim the pieces around my face at all. When I got up I started to voice my opinions about my roots once I saw up close and she told me it would fade. I have never had a stylist tell me that when they clearly messed up. Yeah it will fade, but it will still not even be close to the color of the rest of my hair. She pulled up my inspo pic and she was like see they have different roots and my inspo pic did not even in the slightest. When I was checking out I was clearly upset and she kept commenting on my face so I told her I had rbf so she would leave me alone. I had to go grocery shopping next door and I felt so insecure because of how my hair was colored and how it was still wet. Usually when you leave a salon you feel pretty- I was embarrassed. I will not go back. I'm too scared there will be more damage."
