"My family and I wanted some Mexican food on a Saturday night and I got word that this place has good Mexican food so my wife and I decided to give this place a try with the kiddos. The place was empty when we came inside and the music that was playing had me thinking I was in the nightclub but the artwork inside is beautiful. We sat ourselves and were greeted by a very friendly waitress I ordered some tacos and gorditas my wife had the quesabirria tacos with a side of rice and beans. For being the only people there the food took longer than expected we waited more than 30 minutes but the waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. The food finally came and the plate presentation was nice the overall flavor of the food was ok not worth the high prices the beans tasted like canned beans and the gorditas had beans inside The kids enjoyed their burgers and fries the horchata was good and the tacos were ok nothing special. I’m sorry to say this but theres better Mexican food in town for lesser the price but I’m glad I tried this place but I won’t be coming here again."

"They always have great food and service owners are always involved. Just a couple days ago they updated their menu. They have seafood heaven. One of the best in Rockford area."

"Ordered the $65 shrimp and they where old and mushy. Could not peel them to eat. Got a small discount for the inconvenience to having to go somewhere else to have dinner. The sauce was the best part of the dish. What made the shrimp mushy and tough, was being over cooked (cooked twice per your waitresses information to us) and the lack of freshness of your product."

"This was our first time in this place. At first we were unsure if it was open. It seem a little empty for lunch rush hour. But the host/waiter greeted us very nicely and guide us towards a table. We had a torta, two tostadas and four tacos. Overall, it was a good experience. The torta was very good size for the price. All the basic toppings. The bread was well prepared and the beans were not your refríed beans which gave it an unique taste and flavor. The tacos were good as a taco can be. Nothing unique in the meat. May be needs a little more seasoning on the asada. The el pastor meat nothing special. One highlight of the tacos was that they put some oil on the tortilla to give it an additional dimension. In my opinion, it gave the taco a light crunch that went well with taco. I liked that it was one tortilla tacos. The tostadas were the best. They were from homemade tostadas with more than plenty of toppings. They look nice and big. The chorizo tostada was the best one. It had flavor and complimented all the toppings. The salsa were one dimension all throughout. Nothing special about them. The price was fair for food, in other words you get a good meal for the price you pay."

"We went on Wednesday which is birria day and it was AWESOME everything was delicious! Will definitely go back! Update: Im sad to say they arw going downward fast. We got 3 greasy tacos with more onions than meat. A grease boat chimichanga and pico that was alll onion. Adding new pics. I was soooo happy this place was close to me but this really is just not consistent"
