"I took my 2 year old to Valley Park Elevator and Hardware this morning. Just wanted to give them a shout out for being so kid friendly! My daughter enjoyed the shop cat, feeling the seeds, and even petting a baby chick. They had their flowers and bulk seeds out, as well as a huge assortment of garden gifts/accessories. A lot of choices for high quality birdseeds and dog foods/treats, too. We made sure to pick up a dozen farm fresh eggs and we had our eye on some honey too! Definitely check them out if you never have!"
"There aren't too many businesses like this around anymore. I love coming here because it's authentic (not big-box) and the staff is attentive, helpful, and courteous. I buy all of my propane refills here - a full 20 lbs - not the partial fills with blue rhino. I also like weighing out my own seeds for gardening or buying grass in bulk. They also have bait, a wide selection of hardware, a nursery, firewood, straw, etc. I want places like this to remain in business do I shop here whenever I can."
