"Came in there for an alignment. Left and went to get food. Within 10 mins they called me and told me that i needed a ball joint and tie-rod. Told me to have it fixed and they could do the alignment. Honest people are hard to find. Will be back to have an alignment done after front end job. Customer for life here now."

"My husband had been a customer of this place long before we were married. Now married, we have had them service the various vehicles we've owned for nearly 25 years. Archer Alignment does NOT disappoint!! Now we live 8 hours out of state. Sure do miss their service. However, on a very recent drive back to visit I encountered front right wheel issue/s and I thought perhaps brakes and who knows what else!! Dana(the owner) was able to get me in within just a few days. The technician that drove the car and ultimately identified the problem was Jake. He was incredibly helpful, thorough and kind. He gave me much needed relief when he fixed the problem (lug nuts LOOSENING during my 8 hr. Drive!!) and assured me the car was safe for travel. I'm Extremely grateful to Archer for getting my car in and fixing what I thought would be a monumental problem!! Do not hesitate to use Archer Alignment!! They know their business and how to keep repeat customers for Y E A R S !!!!"

"The most ethical repair shop in DeKalb. As of late, this is the only shop I trust to bring my car to, as they are extremely helpful, thorough, and consistent in their services. Other repair shops usually just do the bare minimum, but not Archer. Other shops missed potentially dangerous issues with both of my recent cars that I had 0 clue about. The first I let go after bringing it to Archer, as the repair would have costed more than the car was worth, but the Archer team, specifically Christie at the front, was very patient and helpful with the process. The 2nd time another 'golden touch' shop missed an obvious rusted rear frame, that archer found and explained a very reasonable plan to address. The repair itself was very costly, but was entirely reasonable for the significance of the job, and was done in a timely manor. I've had no underlying issues with their repair, and now with further repairs there's been nothing but success at a reasonable price. Additionally with how they go above and beyond, they even look for future issues, but not in a shady way. Christie walked me through other issues with my car, and was very specific about what is and is not vital for the safety and longevity of my vehicle's life cycle. She walked me through exactly what each issue would cause, with exactly what, if any, potential risk could be to the part and/or my car if i chose not to go with the repair. But through the process, she did not press me or scare me into thinking I needed these repairs, just the direct fact of 'here's potential issues, and here's how much it would cost to fix.' Seems like a bare minimum for auto repair, but it's shocking how rare it is to run into this kind of ethical service, especially here in DeKalb. Overall, I can't see myself ever bringing my car to any other repair shop again in DeKalb, let alone the entire Northern Illinois Area. I highly recommend coming here first for any and all of your cars needs if you're looking for the job to be done right the first time, and if you're looking to be treated with honesty and respect."

"The only place I'll take my car when I can't/don't have time to do it myself. I only wish I'd found them sooner. I discovered them when I ordered some tires from Tire Rack and they were an installer I could have them shipped to. They are polite, friendly, honest and professional, down to earth and all around amazing to deal with. I've now been here multiple times with both my aging truck and my wife's newer equinox. Always tell you exactly what you need with no bs in-between. I've recommended them to anyone that has asked me for a shop referral and will continue to do so. Make sure to make an appointment asap because their level of customer satisfaction and service shows so they're always booked in advance. Thank y'all for the great service!"
