"Hello KB home home owners this is complain, I bought a home 4600 Delancey Dr- Manor TX 78653 on 04/27/2023 from the Classic East Village community, before this date 3 months ago I paid 9000 $ earnest money for another house in the same community but after that I did not like the house's backyard was too small then I said to the dealer that I want to select another house in the same community, first they said that it no problem you can select another house we can transfer your earnest money, I was waiting for transferring my earnest money but suddenly after few days they dealer said that KB home cant transfer your Earnest money to another house, I was surprised that why is like that, some of my friends they even didn't like their home after build but the received their earnest money easily and transferred to their new home but my dealer took two times earnest money from me even my home was not started to build and he said that he can't do that, you have two choice, one you have to buy this home which you already selected or if you want another home in the same community you have to pay another earnest money. It looks like a robbery from poor customers now the same house is being built and the dealer will take another earnest money from a new customer to sell that home I need my 9000$ earnest money back because it's not easy to make money and give it to KB Home builder for nothing it's not fair and its bad experience how KB Home can make money like this from their customers. My second complaint is when selecting a second house with that dealer in the same community and with having no choice and no rights I paid another 9000$ in earnest money. The selected house was half built and it took about a few months to finish build and construction after the finish they house engineer showed the house to me and with very surprised, I saw that all the restrooms had silver faucets and golden lights, I said why is like this, it should be one color either silver or golden. it do not match each other, the engineer told me very sadly that he couldn't put his position in danger with this issue. He can't ask his manager about this, it's like this if you want to buy it so buy otherwise you can select another home, I am not sure Does KB Home knows all these issues which is going on with their customers, then I spoke with the higher manager of that engineer then he said he can change those after I go to inside home still its been 8 months that restrooms have two colors faucet and lights, nobody came to change all, even during this 8 months I forced from my family side at least I should change one of the rest room faucet and light with matching colors. I hope someone hears this complaint and follows up."

"I have been living for the house for 14 months now. They said they have warranty on the house but whenever we contact the warranty guy, they take a long time to reply to our text message or never reply after many texts. I submitted ticket on their website as my sale person suggested but no confirmation email nor phone call from KB. My last communication was in August and until today, they have not get back on my ticket. I don’t know if he is no longer with KB or not. I have no way to find out because I was given only one contact. The home looks nice but things started to fall apart for us. Our backyard retained waters since day 1 and they told us they will fix it when it’s sunny. But now many days have passed and no news. The latest thing I heard from the warranty guy is that they are still discussing the problem with management. It’s 14 months! The tiles and ceiling are cracking, not hair thin but huge. I asked how much I shoud be worried but no one answers me. I hate the fact that they make me feel like I paid for the home already and their responsibility is done. I bought KB home house because my sale guy and my realtor said nice things about their service, but this is absolutely not a #1 customer reivew. In fact, they took the sign down. Do not recommend KB home!"

"This place is no good at all the quality for the house there a so bad they don’t even listen to you when you try to fix or correct them about something and here is the pictures to explain more I buy house there for almost $550,000 and this is the quality I got and I keep ask them to fix it but no one listen to what ever you wanna say"
