"This is a great historical spot to take your family! The grounds are open everyday but you can see inside some of the buildings on Saturdays. Our grandkids loved walking around and having a photo op on the caboose."

"Magnolia has an interesting history based on colonization through homesteads in the area. 1845 starts Magnolia which changed names. You’ll have to look that up......The railroad came through about 1903. The physicians office, barber shop, post office were very nice considering it was closed today. I live in Houston and will definitely come back. Getting some nice photos was reward enough."
