"Thankful for the volunteers who were here cleaning up...there efforts were appreciated. I don't have any relatives here but somebody does so it's nice to know that these folks from long ago are being respected. One of, if not, the largest african american cemeteries in Denton County...possibly alot who are resting here were from the "Quaker Town" neighborhood that was taken from them because TWU faculty and students weren't comfortable with a large community of black folks being by their are. Denton county does not value black people of pride This is the ugly history of this county, they tried to either hide or destroy the proud black community which is why the city build these structures around it as well as Fox Hembry cemetery. Know your history or it will forgotten"
